August 6–October 25, 2026 Museum of the Moving Image Terms of Agreement 🐳

For this Museum commission, presented as part of the Museum’s year-long partnership with the Tezos Foundation, conceptual artist Jonas Lund, whose work critically examines contemporary networked systems and technological innovation, is paired with Yoshi Sodeoka, an artist and musician whose work explores the tension between precision and chaos through unpredictable, self-organizing systems that blur natural and artificial behavior.

August 6–November 12, 2026 Museum of the Moving Image Felix the Cat

MoMI presents four restored Felix the Cat cartoons from 1927–28. Watch Felix travel to the bottom of the sea to source a string of pearls (only to be chased out by the angry mother oyster), fashion a straw out of a yard of stolen pasta, attempt to court Juliet (as Romeow) while dueling another suitor and a group of musical animals, and, after a failed outing to the cinema, make his own movie, capturing some unintended mischief.

JULY 30–NOVEMBER 8, 2026 Museum of the Moving Image Reframing the Slasher: Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma

This exhibition of material related to the new film Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma pairs screen-used props from the fictional Camp Miasma franchise—VHS tapes, posters, merchandise, and a costume—with a series of movie posters selected by director Jane Schoenbrun.
