East 45th street is a street in Midtown Manhattan that runs from Second Avenue to the East River. It is home to several notable buildings, such as the Roosevelt Hotel, the Helmsley Building, and the Grand Central Post Office.
Lexington Avenue is an avenue on the East Side of Manhattan that carries southbound one-way traffic from East 131st Street to Gramercy Park at East 21st Street. It is known for its upscale shopping, restaurants, and art galleries, as well as being the location of several landmarks, such as the Chrysler Building, the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, and the New York Public Library.
3rd Avenue is another avenue on the East Side of Manhattan that runs from Cooper Square in the south to East 138th Street in the Bronx. It has a mix of residential and commercial buildings, and is also a major transit corridor with several bus routes and subway stations. Some of the attractions along 3rd Avenue include the Empire State Building, the United Nations Headquarters, and the Museum of Modern Art.
East 48th Street is a street in Midtown Manhattan that crosses 5th Avenue, 6th Avenue, and Park Avenue. It has a variety of businesses, hotels, and restaurants, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, and Le Bernardin. It also passes by St. Patrick's Cathedral and Radio City Music Hall.
Intercontinental Barclays is a luxury hotel at 111 East 48th Street, on Lexington Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets. It was built in 1926 as part of the Terminal City complex around Grand Central Terminal, and was designed by Cross & Cross in the Neo-Federal style. It has 702 rooms and suites, a fitness center, a spa, and a restaurant.
Park Avenue / Hamsley Building is a combination of a major avenue and a historic skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan. Park Avenue runs from East 32nd Street to East 135th Street, and is known for its elegant residential buildings and corporate headquarters. The Hamsley Building is located at 230 Park Avenue, between 45th and 46th Streets.
Madison Avenue is an avenue on the East Side of Manhattan that runs from Madison Square at East 23rd Street to Harlem River Drive at East 142nd Street. It is famous for being the center of the American advertising industry since the mid-20th century, as well as for its high-end shopping, dining, and cultural venues.
5th Avenue is one of the most prestigious and expensive streets in New York City and the world. It stretches from Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village to West 143rd Street in Harlem. It is home to many landmarks, such as the Flatiron Building, the New York Public Library, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, The Plaza Hotel, The Guggenheim Museum, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. It also hosts many parades and events throughout the year, such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the New Year's Eve Ball Drop.
Rockefeller plaza is a complex of 19 buildings in Midtown Manhattan that spans from 48th to 51st Streets between 5th and 6th Avenues. It was developed by John D. Rockefeller Jr. in the 1930s as a \"city within a city\" with offices, shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and public spaces.
6th Avenue is an avenue in Manhattan that runs from Franklin Street in Tribeca to West 59th Street at Central Park South. It is also known as Avenue of the Americas since 1945 when it was renamed to honor the countries of the Western Hemisphere. It is a major commercial and transit artery, with many skyscrapers, hotels, shops, and subway lines along its route. Some of the landmarks on 6th Avenue include Bryant Park, Herald Square, Times Square, and the Museum of Modern Art.
