Artexpo New York returned to Pier 36 from April 3 through April 6, 2025, for its 48th edition. More than 200 galleries, publishers, and independent artists from 27 countries filled 70,000 square feet with work by over 1,000 creators, combining an international art marketplace with demonstrations, installations, prizes, and programs intended to connect artists directly with collectors and the public.

What to Know
The Fair Combined Several Kinds of Exhibitor
Commercial galleries appeared beside publishers and independent artists in the SOLO section. That mix gave visitors access to established programs while leaving space for artists presenting work without gallery representation.
More Than 1,000 Artists Were Represented
Painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, glass, prints, lithographs, and digital work appeared throughout the hall. The scale made the fair less a single curatorial statement than a wide survey of what artists and galleries believed could find an audience.
Programs Slowed Down the Marketplace
Art Labs, live demonstrations, Meet the Artists sessions, and the Spotlight Program created occasions to examine process and context rather than moving directly from display to sale.
Lower-Priced Work Had a Dedicated Route
The Discoveries Collection identified works selected by the fair's curatorial team at prices between $1,000 and $3,000 or less, giving newer buyers a clear entry point into a crowded floor.
Two Competitions Debuted
The first Redwood Art Prize recognized artists selected for distinctive work, while a Digital Photo Contest invited a broader field of photographers to participate. The official Artexpo site maintains current fair and exhibitor information.
