What to Know

The Fair Reached 24 Countries

The international exhibitor roster brought painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, glass, prints, and mixed media into one continuous floor. The scale allowed visitors to move between established gallery programs and independent artist presentations without leaving the main exhibition space.

Curated Programs Added Direction

The Spotlight Program identified selected galleries and artists for closer attention. Art Labs presented project-based installations, while Meet the Artists and Live Demonstrations gave visitors scheduled opportunities to observe techniques and speak directly with exhibitors.

Discoveries Set a Price Limit

The Discoveries Collection gathered works selected by the fair's curatorial team, each priced at $3,000 or less. The program created a defined entry point for newer collectors inside a marketplace that otherwise covered a broad range of prices.

Six Spotlights Led the Program

The 2026 Spotlight recipients were Artwise Online, Muisca Gallery, Drew Marc Gallery, Christopher Lotus, Christian Burnham, and Catherine Blackburn. Their presentations formed an editorial layer within the larger commercial floor.

The Fair Nears Fifty Years

Artexpo began in 1978 and has developed into a longstanding spring event for artists, galleries, collectors, designers, and trade buyers. Redwood Art Group scheduled the fair's 50th anniversary edition for April 8 through April 11, 2027, at Pier 36. The official Artexpo page carries current information.
