What to Know
More Than 100 Cars
Vehicles arrived from New York City and the surrounding region. Owners opened hoods, shared restoration details, and placed different periods of automotive design side by side along Shore Boulevard.
A Free Park Event
The show ran from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and was free for visitors. Its location connected the displays with Astoria Park's waterfront, lawn, and views toward the East River.
Judging and Public Votes
Professional judges selected a Top 25 and an overall Best in Show. Visitors also chose People's Choice and Kid's Choice winners, giving the public a direct role alongside the formal judging panel.
Music Shared the Boulevard
Local band Spitfire performed on the main stage while a DJ supplied music through the day. Food vendors and interactive family activities expanded the event beyond the vehicle rows.
Registration Supported the Park
Owners paid a $25 donation per vehicle at registration. The proceeds supported Astoria Park Alliance beautification work, free programming, and community events within the 60-acre park.
A Show With an Earlier Name
The event began in 2018 as the Father's Day Classic Car Show. After a long pause, it returned under the Astoria Park Classic Car Show name for its third edition.
The Alliance Organized It
Astoria Park Alliance developed the show with neighborhood partners and sponsors. The alliance's official 2024 event page confirms the date, program, registration donation, and awards.
