What to Know
Cars and Their Owners
Vehicles came from around New York and the region. Owners opened hoods and discussed restoration work, placing different eras of automotive design alongside one another on the waterfront boulevard.
Judges and Visitors Chose Winners
Professional judging selected a Top 25 and Best in Show. People's Choice and Kid's Choice awards gave visitors a separate vote in the afternoon's results.
Music and Family Activities
Local band Spitfire performed on the main stage, with a DJ, food vendors, and interactive activities extending the program beyond the cars. The park's lawns and East River setting formed the surrounding public space.
Registration Supported the Park
The $25 vehicle donation supported Astoria Park Alliance's beautification projects, free programming, and community events in the 60-acre park. Visitor entry remained free.
A Return Under a New Name
The event began in 2018 as the Father's Day Classic Car Show and returned after a pause as the Astoria Park Classic Car Show. The Alliance worked with local partners and sponsors; its 2024 event page records the program and awards.
