Anime NYC returned to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from August 21 through August 24, 2025, expanding the convention to four days. Exhibitors, publishers, artists, performers, voice actors, game developers, and fans gathered around Japanese popular culture through screenings, panels, concerts, cosplay, shopping, and community programming.

What to Know
The Convention Added Thursday
The 2025 edition ran from Thursday through Sunday, extending Anime NYC to four days. The additional day expanded access to the show floor, panels, concerts, screenings, gaming, Artist Alley, and Destination Cosplay.
More Than 540 Creators Participated
Artist Alley and the Vendor Market brought together over 540 creators. Their booths placed independent illustration, comics, craft, apparel, collectibles, and fan-made work alongside major publishers and entertainment companies.
Programming Crossed Several Industries
Partners included Aniplex, Bandai Namco, Crunchyroll, Lucasfilm, Netflix, Studio Trigger, Shueisha, TOHO, VIZ Media, and Yen Press. Panels and premieres connected animation, manga, games, film, publishing, voice performance, and virtual entertainment.
Music Anchored Major Events
The schedule included Yoko Takahashi in an Evangelion anniversary concert, the hololive STAGE World Tour, and a JAM Project event tied to One-Punch Man. Karaoke, parties, and late-night screenings extended activity beyond the exhibition floor.
Cosplay Had Dedicated Spaces
