What to Know
From Runabouts to a 52-Foot Yacht
The lineup ranges from 18-foot runabouts to the Pardo 52 GT, named the edition's Queen of the Show and priced at approximately $2 million. Center consoles, sport boats, personal watercraft, cruisers, wake-sports boats, and marine electronics allow comparisons across uses and budgets.
Other Boats on Display
Featured models include the Pursuit S428 with four Yamaha 425 XTO engines, the Formula 430 SSC, Beneteau Gran Turismo 45, Cigarette 41 Nighthawk, and Solaris 44 Open. The Formula measures 43 feet; the boats span fishing, performance, and cruising designs.
A First Try on the Water
The Boating Beach Club offers stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking for visitors 10 and older, without requiring previous experience. Its paddle pool sits alongside beach games and alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.
Maintenance and Boating Basics
Fred's Shed How-To Center provides free Boating 101 instruction and daily sessions on operation, service, maintenance, and upgrades. The lessons address the ongoing work of owning a boat as well as the initial purchase.
Conservation and Community
Clean Earth Project hosts the Conservation Village, focused on waste and waterway protection. An opening-night event supports Billion Oyster Project's New York Harbor restoration work.
Family Activities and Admission Programs
Children can build model boats and board display vessels. The January 24 Saluting Our Heroes program offered free entry to eligible military members and veterans, first responders, and Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary members. Admission offers, prices, and schedules here apply to 2024; the official show site covers subsequent editions.
