Please join me in visiting the High Line on Monday morning. The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway, and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan in New York City. It is a public park built on a historic freight rail line that is elevated above the streets of Manhattan’s West Side. The design of the High Line is a collaboration between James Corner Field Operations, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and Piet Oudolf. Visitors to the High Line can experience nature, art, and design in a unique urban setting.
