A Premiere Built Into the Plazas
Billboards, starting lights, branded gantries, press positions, and car displays transformed the pedestrian space. Spectators watched arrivals and production activity from surrounding public areas.
Film and Racing Guests
Director Joseph Kosinski joined Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, and Sarah Niles. Producer and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton appeared alongside Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, Toto Wolff, and other racing figures.
The Logistics Behind the Cars
DHL reported transporting 13 cars from 11 cities over a combined 46,768 kilometers. The showcase included the fictional APXGP car driven by Pitt's character and cars associated with Formula 1's history.
From the Square to Radio City
The Times Square arrivals preceded the formal screening at Radio City Music Hall. Public viewing outside and the invited premiere were separate parts of the evening.
The Theatrical Release
The international rollout began June 25, followed by North America on June 27, 2025. Warner Bros. Pictures handled global theatrical distribution for the Apple Original Films production.
